I'm a thirty-something in upstate New York. This blog was originally created to chronicle my transition from full-time to part-time employment. Rather than sitting around watching soaps and eating bonbons (mmm, bonbons), I decided to bone up on all those happy homemaker skills I so sorely lacked.
Then, life happened. The last thing I felt I had time for was this blog, but honestly, what better time to document these successes and failures than now?
This blog will follow my journey from domestically challenged to domestic goddess. Heck, I’d even be happy with demigoddess. Can the girl who once burned soup successfully fend for herself?
Note to gluten-free friends: I've tagged several recipes as gluten-free because I think they are, but it's no guarantee. Proceed at your own risk. Better yet, don't listen to me at all and adapt these recipes to suit your needs.
